"Active Shooter" Shootout!!

The Active Shooter tests were conducted in Baton Rouge on May 29-30, 2008. Each day, two unrehearsed, unstaged, realistic Active Shooter exercises were conducted. Two shooters attacked four classrooms located in different parts of the school. The BRPD SWAT participated in the "Day 1" exercises and in "Day 2" members of the BRPD SWAT, East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office SWAT and the State Police SWAT combined their members together to form the entry teams in the 2nd day's two exercises. This video features the second by second tactical response timeline and the final shootout between SWAT and the Active Shooters.
