Virtual Incident Command Video
Police Training Exercises Baton Rouge, LA. October 2006
Virtual Incident Command technology (VIC) can be of enormous significance to the future security of people and property.
Given that time is crucial in a security incident the use of virtual command technology enables
police to respond to the intrusion emergency with their incident planning and preparation in
progress which enabled units to take action immediately upon arrival at the scene.
This 11 minute video introduces the viewer to Virtual Incident Command technology and includes a brief introduction by
Don Jones and Police Chief Jeff LeDuff followed by an actual training demonstration. The training exercise is followed
by a debriefing of the Baton Rouge Police Department Special Response Team.
