Panel 3210 - Security/Fire Alarm Control Panel (S/FACP)

The 3210 S/FACP provides real-time detection and notification of alarm conditions to all registered workstations.

3210 Features
  • User-friendly touchscreen graphic display provides intuitive easy-to-use interface for both the skilled and novice users. Intergral key-activated login for first responders.
  • Redundant monitoring architecture allows multiple monitoring stations to monitor a single alarm panel while each monitoring station can also monitor multiple alarm panels.
  • Up to 30 addressable 3220 DIUs may be connected to any single 3210 S/FACP alarm panel (up to 1920 points).
  • Rugged enclosures are fabricated from heavy-duty steel. Durable powder cost finish. Convenient lift-off hinges make installations quick and easy.
  • Rapid alarm notification. A 3220 DIU is polled every 1/30th of a second by the S/FACP.
  • Tamper switch detects when cover is open, alerting 3210 S/FACP.
  • Communication integrity continuously checked between 3220 DIU and 3210 S/FACP. Failure produces trouble notification at each device. Redundant communications loop provides backup path. Failed network communication generates alarms at both S/FACP and at monitoring stations.
  • Internal backup power supply insures 24 hours of uninterrupted operations without primary power.
Panel 3220 - Device Interface Unit (DIU)
The 3220 Device Interface Unit interfaces the System 3000 with the sensors and control units.

3220 Features
  • Modular design allows for more flexible configuration of point types. Supports four Application Specific Module (ASM) board slots.
  • Up to 64 points/DIU, when populated with four (4) 16 channel supervised input boards (Model 3220-01, ASM-SI16).
Interconnecting the 3210 & 3220 Panels

The 3210 S/FACP connects to the 3220 DIU over a redundant pair of 4-wire RS485 ports.

ASMs - Application Specific Modules

3220-01 - ASM-SI16

The 3220-01 supervised 16-channel input board is an application specific module designed exclusively for the System 3000 3220 DIU. The ASM-SI16 provides sixteen (16) input channels that may be used to receive reported changes in standard four-wire detection and two-wire contacts like a pull station.

3220-03 - ASM-ST16

The 3220-03 supervised 16-channel digital temperature sensor board is an application specific module designed exclusively for the System 3000 3220 DIU. The ASM-ST16 supports communication with up to 16 Model 3310-01 Digital Temperature Sensors (DTS).

3220-04 - ASM-SO08

The 3220-04 supervised 8-channel output board is an application specific module designed exclusively for the System 3000 3220 DIU. The ASM-SO08 provides (8) eight output control channels that may be used to activate horns/strobes through a power booster extender or may simply actuate a relay (i.e. light control).

3230-01 - Security Keypad (Under Development - Available 2010)

The Security Keypad will allow access to security zone arming and disarming. In addition the keypad will display the state of a security zone, display a list of points blocking an Arm command and allow users to bypass the blocking point. The 3230-01 Security Keypad will communicate directly to the 3210 S/FACP via an RS-485 multidrop link.
