Industry professional Daniel C. Colin joins NetTalon Security Systems as CEO/President.
NetTalon Security Systems announced today that its Board of Directors has named Daniel C. Colin as its CEO/President. With over 35 years of experience in the electronic security and fire alarm industry, Mr. Colin has held senior management positions at Siemens Fire Systems, ADT Security Systems and the Simplex Time Recorder Company. He is affiliated with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), Security Industry Association (SIA), Automatic Fire Alarm Association (AAFA) and National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA). He says he is "honored to join the NetTalon team and hopes to use the companys innovative engineering abilities to develop a host of new fire and security products based on NetTalon's patented System 3000 monitoring technology"
Mr. Colin sees tremendous potential for NetTalon to grow into a world-class competitor in the Fire and Security Systems field with its System 3000. He says that the System 3000 is "unique to the industry because of its ability to provide the traditionally conservative industry with a new U.S. fire detection standard and dynamic real-time incident monitoring capability."
Built on NetTalon's patented technology, the System 3000 will establish a new paradigm for incident management capabilities. It is the only system that can provide first responders with real-time emergency information during fire and security emergencies.
NetTalon Security Systems was incorporated in the state of Virginia in 1998. Having raised over $5M in investment capital from an extended "family and friends" network, the company's System 3000 became available for sale in February 2004 after having attained both FCC approval and a Factory Mutual listing. The company plans to distribute its innovative fire and security products domestically through the development of an extensive network of distributors and dealers.
