The NetTalon System 3000 using Virtual Command Technology allows multiple First Responders to have
"Virtual Presence" in any building from anywhere on the planet.
The NetTalon System 3000 reports real-time information to four types of monitoring workstations;
the Administrative Monitoring Station (AMS), the Remote Monitoring Station (RMS), the Emergency Response Station (ERS)
and the Annunciator.
The Administrative Monitoring Station is a full capability workstation capable of
monitoring and maintaining the sensor network. There is no limit on the number of Administrative
Monitoring Stations that can be connected to the network.
The AMS serves as the network host, where the security/fire alarm control panel reports any change
in a sensor condition in 1-2 seconds. The change is displayed on a network map and a textual list
and is accompanied by an aural alert when the change is an alarm condition. The AMS communicates to
its panel over a high-speed network with permanent connectivity between the devices and uses a static
IP address.
The Remote Monitoring Station is a monitoring system that receive real-time status information
from the network. There is no limit on the number of RMS's that can be connected to the network. The
RMS supports all the graphic display functions of the AMS but is a "read-only" device.
The Emergency Response Station consists of a software package installed on in-house computers
in the facility. It uses a static IP address and is primarily a monitoring station that has a set of
capabilities that can be executed in an emergency situation. Specific capabilities include
locking/unlocking doors, activating lights, unmasking security sensors, etc.
The Annunciator is a local monitoring system that receives real-time status information from
the network. Like the Remote and Mobile Monitoring Station, the Annunciator supports all graphic
display functions but is a read-only device. A wall mounted display unit, the Annunciator provides
a touch screen interface to facilitate navigation through the various graphic screens. The
Annunciator provides the status of the System 3000 panel and any supervisory systems
(e.g. sprinkler system) that the alarm control panel is monitoring.
